Whole Body electro-muscle-stimulation works by sending an electrical stimulus into the neurons of over 90% of your skeletal muscles, in turn, causing them to contract. This stimulus is non-directional, meaning that your powerful fast twitch fibres are activated with every muscle contraction (which is not the case with conventional training).

As with all exercise, the speed of your results depends on what your training goals are. Some people with back pain have seen improvements and a reduced level of in as little as 2 EMS sessions.

Like with all forms of training, there are certain contraindications that prevent you from partaking in EMS training (please see the next question for further information).

Like with all forms of exercise, certain medical issues need to be considered prior to participating in EMS training. Medical approval should be obtained prior to EMS training if you have any of the following contraindications:
